Vel Tech University is organizing an event ICAM 3D to spread awareness on additive manufacturing, 3D printing and 3D scanning technologies. This event gives you an insight into the pros and cons of the technologies. ICAM 3D helps us get handy experience by attending the workshop which is being held in the campus premises on 5th February, 2015 and the conference in The Hilton, Chennai on 6-7th February 2015.

The conference emphasizes on the basics of 3D printing and 3D scanning, especially on Additive Manufacturing. If you are familiar with CAD, AUTOCAD etc. then, it is a very good opportunity for you. The workshop is based on the uses of AM in the field of Automobile and Medical Devices. This conference is a very good platform for displaying your research works. A parallel exhibition will also be conducted during the conference. In the exhibition, a number of organizations, working on this technology will display their works! This event is attended by many renowned speakers such as Prof Dr Ing Andreas Gebhardt.

Students can register to attend the workshop and conference. The Registration fees are as follows depending on the program they are interested in.
