Return & Cancellation Policy

General Information

Product offerings at think3D can be categorized into 3 sections. The return & cancellation policy varies for each section. Below is the detailed description of return and cancellation policy for the three categories of products we offer.

(a) Hardware: Hardware section comprises of 3D printers, 3D scanners & 3D filaments. All hardware we ship is covered under manufacturer warranty. If a hardware part you received is defective / damaged, it will be covered under manufacturer warranty and we facilitate the replacement of parts by invoking the warranty clause. We generally don’t accept return back of hardware once it is delivered to customer except under certain special circumstances. Below section elaborates the return & cancellation policy for 3D printers.

(b) Pre-listed Products: At think3D, we also list designs and upon customer placing the order, we print those designs and ship to customers. These designs are validated before we list the designs in the store. These products are covered under 30 day no questions asked return policy. Below section elaborates the return & cancellation policy for pre listed products.

(c) Customized Products: We also offer customized product printing for customers. If customer has a specific design and want us to create a 3D print, we do the same for customer. Such customized product can’t be returned once the customer confirms the designs and gives us the go-ahead to print the object. Below section elaborates the return and cancellation policy for customized products.

Return & Cancellation Policy for Hardware:

1. What is the cancellation policy for hardware:

For all kinds of hardware, after we receive purchase order we shall contact customer to reaffirm the order. Once customer reaffirms the order, we shall go ahead and process the order. Once we start processing the order, customer can’t cancel the order under any circumstance. If there is delay from think3D end in processing the order, a penalty of INR 250.00/day after order deadline date will be paid to customers who paid atleast 50% of invoice amount in advance. This is applicable only if the order hasn’t reached India customs within the deadline date. If the order reached India customs within the deadline date and delay is caused at India customs, then the above mentioned clause isn’t applicable.

2. What is the return policy for 3D printers:

Most of the hardware sold by think3D is covered under the Manufacturer’s warranty. think3D won’t be offering any additional warranty than what is listed by the manufacturer and it is clearly communicated during the sale. So, think3D won’t accept return of hardware. think3D can facilitate the warranty claim and act on behalf of customer to get the products replaced from manufacturer. Also, think3D helps in 3D printer service via video conferencing sessions or in-person troubleshooting.

If there are any printers that aren’t covered under manufacturer warranty, customer can return the printer for a full refund of paid price. To get a refund customer has to call us at +91-040-40208193 or email at info@think3d.in within a period of 30 days from the date of the order.

However, returns will be accepted if the product is returned in saleable condition with all the packaging intact and in undamaged condition. Please note that refund / replacement of goods / merchandise is subject to inspection and checking by think3D team. Damage due to improper use of the product / neglect will not be covered under Returns policy. Also, please note that convenience charge and shipping charge will not be included in the refund value of the order.

Return & Cancellation Policy for Pre-listed Products:

1. What is the return policy for pre-listed products:

think3D also lists various designs in its design store. When customer places an order for a particular design, think3D prints the design and ships the printed product to customer. If the customer isn’t 100% satisfied with the purchase, he/she can return the order for a full refund of paid price or he/she can have the object printed again. To get a refund customer has to call us at +91-40-40208193 or email at info@think3d.in within a period of 30 days from the date of the order.

In order for us to resolve your issue as quickly as possible, we ask that you describe the issue in detail and, if possible, provide pictures.

However, returns will be accepted if the product is returned in saleable condition with all the packaging intact and in undamaged condition. Please note that refund / replacement of goods / merchandise is subject to inspection and checking by think3D team. Damage due to improper use of the product / neglect will not be covered under Returns policy. Also, please note that convenience charge and shipping charge will not be included in the refund value of the order.

2. What is the cancellation policy for pre-listed products:

For pre-listed products, think3D team shall start processing the order once it receives the notification. think3D team won’t call the customer for reaffirmation of order unlike for 3D printers. Depending on the order queue it may take couple of hours before think3D team start processing the order. So, customer can still reach think3D if he/she wishes to cancel the order. think3D holds the right of refusal which company invokes if it started processing the order before the concerned person at think3D receives (receive here referred to as checked)  the cancellation message.

Return & Cancellation Policy for Customized Products:

1. What is the return policy for customized products:

think3D also offers 3D printing of customized designs. i.e. If a customer has a design which he intends to get printed, he/she can approach think3D, get the design ascertained for print-ability, do the necessary changes and then get the product printed. For such products, think3D doesn’t offer any return / refund policy under any circumstances. As customer has worked closely with the think3D team to do the necessary enhancements to the design, it is understood that the customer is aware of the end product he can expect.

2. What is the cancellation policy for customized products:

For customized products, think3D team shall contact the customer with the final design and seeks customer confirmation for 3D printing the same. Once customer reaffirms the order, order can’t be cancelled under any circumstances.
