The FlashForge Hunter is a DLP (Digital Light Processing) 3D Printer, which allows the user to print a 3D model in high detail. The whole layer can be printed at a time. Generally, the printing time is less than that of the SLA 3D printer. Easy to use with a simple and intuitive user interface.
Photopolymer resin is adopted as a printing material for Hunter DLP 3D printer which is compatible with third-party resins too. But Flashforge would recommend their own materials for optimism results. It is compatible to 3rd party resin for 3d printing, so users can have more flexibility to try a different type of resin such as castable resin, tough resin, biocompatible resin etc. Therefore, Hunter DLP 3D Printer especially useful for making a tough highly detailed engineering prototype, castable ring model, or even making a medical model.
Flashforge Hunter DLP 3D printer uses a self-developed light engine, which can ensure more stable LED intensity and better printing quality. Also, as Hunter DLP 3D printer adopts Flashforge’s self-developed light engine, the light engine has been adjusted to a particular wavelength (405nm LED) for 3D printing. This fine tune can best fit the printing process, which can lead to a better printing result.
