Shining 3D launches the latest in 3D scanner series- The EINSCAN 2.0

Shining 3D is a Chinese 3D printing and digitization company which has launched EinScan 2.0. This is a software version of the EinScan Series 3D scanner which is a series of the world’s pioneer multi-functional modular scanners. The EinScan 2.0 has a better user experience, sharing of 3D data online, one-click data uploading to the Sketchfab platform and many other advanced features.

The EinScan Series has two models: the EinScan-S Desktop 3D Scanner, and the EinScan-Pro Multi-Functional Handheld Scanner. The EinScan Series was launched in 2015 at the mega consumer CES show. The applications of the 3D scanner include digitized design, personalized customization, digitization, education, virtual reality development, and 3D printing. In addition to the SDK interface, the scanner series increases accessibility of 3D scanning and designing technology.

This November, EinScan-Pro partnered with myminifactory.com, a U.K based firm for their charity program Scan the World. This initiative provides free downloads of 3D modeling files of renowned buildings. Available in 60 countries worldwide, the EinScan Series is at present, the most popular tool for 3D modeling of objects.

EinScan 2.0 is a platform that will together manage the EinScan-pro and the EinScan-S scanners. Users will need to connect and run a device with a single installation package. Along with this, the better user experience and multiple language support are some of the additional features.

The Sketchfab community has 500,000 3D content creators and more than 1 million 3D models online. Now EinScan 2.0 will support the uploading of 3D models on the Sketchfab platform. It will enable the users to share their 3D data using this platform.

All EinScan scanner users will be able to avail the EinScan 2.0 version by a free upgrade. It will be formally launched on December 5th, with internal tests starting from December 1st.
