Version 1.2 of Emendo Automated STL File Repair & Validation SDK released by Avante technology

Though 3D printing is being embraced by numerous sectors and start-ups, it is sad to know that so many have to close down. Avante Technology, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, is upgrading their advanced 3D printing technology. They have released a version 1.2 of their Emendo Automated STL File Repair and Validation Software Development Kit (SDK). This product was first introduced in 2014 and is aimed at supplying web based 3D printing on orders, and application developers. Avante unveiled version 1.1 a few months ago and have expanded their model with version 1.2. Now, superior file repair and validation will provide greater benefits. Failed prints are expensive as they result in wasted material and wasted time. Emendo provides elimination of manual file repairs.

Robert Zollo, the president of Avante technology said that the Emendo SDK was developed to improve the quality of 3D printing using automated file repairing service. The Emendo kit is simple to use and easy to understand. Four repair method options are available with Emendo. Each method is separate and employs its own set of algorithms. The .stl files can be automated for repairs. With Emendo, repairs can be fixed by-

• CAD files
• Hybrid .stl files
• Rendered .stl files

The repair methods can be used to automate the errors and the repairs. This is an effective way to fix errors and numerous files can be easily repaired. The precision levels too can be selected. The SDK version 1.2 is currently available for MS Windows 7,8,10, and for Mac OS 10.10, 10.11. The other OS versions will also be made available on request. Four types of licensing are currently offered for PC application developers, Web developers, business enterprises, and educational systems.
