Ultimaker 3 is a newly launched desktop 3D printer provides reliable dual extrusion with soluble support material, swappable print cores and wireless control. It also has material recognition with NFC scanner and live camera monitoring. The printer supports STL, OBJ files as well as the new 3MF format.
Extensively tested preconfigured Ultimaker Cura profiles make for a smoother, more seamless 3D printing experience by automatically adjusting the necessary settings for each material and print core. Produce consistent, quality results with every print.
The Ultimaker comes up with FDM technology. The great advantage of FDM is the durable materials it uses, the stability of their mechanical properties over time, and the quality of the parts. The production-grade thermoplastic materials used in FDM are suitable for detailed functional prototypes.
Ultimaker 3 is a newly launched desktop 3D printer with a dual extrusion system for printing two materials at once. It also gets WiFi and Ethernet support. Build volume of the Ultimaker 3 is 215 x 215 x 200 mm when printing with a single extruder and while using dual extrusion in the Ultimaker 3 the build volume narrows down to 197 x 215 x 200 mm. Ultimaker 3 offers a “smart material detection”. This means if we insert a special material spool containing a NFC chip and the printer is ready to go. Max resolution is 20 microns and the printer supports STL, OBJ files as well 3MF.
