Middle East Engineering Technologies(MEET) constructed its first 3D Printed Villa in United Arab Emirates. It was printed in just 2 weeks with help of CyBe team’s expertise providing on-site training and support. MEET is a subsidiary of Ginco Group,located in Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park. It’s vision is to develop innovative construction technologies. MEET, in collaboration with the American University of Sharjah and other leading universities and industry partners, have adopted 3D concrete printing as its core focus. So as a proof it has started to construct the first 3D printed house. It has 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom and a built up area of 818 ft2. This villa is designed based on the Emirati heritage and architecture. Bifacial solar panels are used for power source. Any one in the UAE can attend the inauguration ceremony today at 6:30 pm GST.
