THINK3D, India’s largest integrated digital manufacturing service provider has launched a training institute at Sheela Nagar, Visakhapatnam to impart CAD, CAM, CAE training to the students.

The need for the institute stems from the pain we experienced at THINK3D in recruiting high quality CAD trained manpower in Visakhapatnam. The trainings and academic focus in India is highly skewed towards software leaving the manufacturing industry short of the required man power. This is affecting overall manufacturing competency in India as skilled manpower is fundamental for that. In order to address this gap, we have conceptualized and instituted the training institute in Visakhapatnam.

We shall be covering various training programs for 3D Design, 3D Printing, Simulation, Non-Destructive Testing, Quality, CNC Machining, 2D Drafting and so on. Unlike various other classroom based training programs, in our case the students can visit the shop floor and have practical training on all the courses covered. This is lacking in many training institutes and we can offer that to the students. On top, students shall work on an internship course for a month or so where they can get hands-on experience on the various courses they learnt in the class.

Our end goal of this training program is for the students to master the various manufacturing technologies and be industry ready.
